How to give Amazon Seller Central access safely

Important: Never give your main Seller Central owner login, password, email or one-time password codes to anyone. including us.

Use secondary-user permissions only

1. Log in to Seller Central as the account owner.
2. Go to Settings > User Permissions.
3. Add the invited user’s name and email.
4. Send the invitation.
5. After the invitation is accepted, assign only the permissions needed for the agreed work.
6. Review and remove permissions when the engagement ends.

Why this matters

Owner credentials control sensitive account, banking, tax and identity information. Proper user permissions help protect your account while allowing work to be performed with boundaries.

If you are unsure which permissions are needed, ask before granting access.
